Hi! I’m Mackenzie, and I host the Fascinating Jobs Podcast! As a student, people are always asking you “have you thought about what you want to do?” or “What do you want to be when you grow up?” After being asked this quite a few times myself, I realized that I really didn’t know what I wanted my future career to be. I really didn’t even know about most careers! That’s why I created the Fascinating Jobs Podcast. To help students, people looking to get into a new career, or people interested in learning about new jobs actually learn about them. Each week, I sit down with a new professional with an interesting job, and talk with them about why they’re passionate about their work, what are the best and worst parts, and what they would recommend to students who are interested in their field. This way, people of any age can explore and try new things right from their own home (which is especially good considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic!)
